DX Kit

The AHU DX Kit is a comprehensive solution that enables

the direct integration of VRF systems with air handling

units. It combines advanced automation, direct evapora-

tion technology, and ease of implementation, ensuring high

energy efficiency and maximum design flexibility.

The AHU DX Kit is designed to efficiently integrate VRF units with air handling units and heat exchangers from

various manufacturers. This solution enables the use of direct expansion (DX) technology in ventilation systems,

resulting in high system efficiency, precise control of air parameters, and optimized operating costs.

The module is a complete, integration-ready solution equipped with full automation, an electronic expansion valve

(EXV), temperature sensors, wiring, and a controller. This significantly simplifies the system design and commis-

sioning process, and integration with existing HVAC systems is quick and efficient.

Built-in sensors enable precise control of the heat exchanger’s operation, regardless of whether the air handling

unit has its own automation system or requires external control. The AHU DX Kit is compatible with a 0–10 V

control signal, offering extensive configuration options and the ability to adapt to the requirements of a specific

project.

This solution is ideal for modern office, retail, hotel, public, and industrial buildings, where energy efficiency, user

comfort, and the reliability of the HVAC system are of paramount importance. Thanks to its modular design, the

AHU DX Kit provides designers and contractors with great flexibility in creating efficient and scalable air condi-

The unit can be controlled using the included wired controller, external controllers

via a 0–10 V signal, or via the MODBUS protocol. The kit includes a set of sensors

to be mounted on the refrigerant heat exchanger. It requires no additional acces-

sories or special configuration.

KWAARVK - 00B/01B/02B/03B

AHU kits allow VRF outdoor units with capacities ranging from

12 to 101 kW to be connected to refrigerant heat exchangers

in air handling units. This makes it possible to cool and heat

ventilation air using an efficient VRF system, while maintaining

high energy efficiency and flexibility in capacity selection.

Wide supply voltage range

The device is designed to operate stably even under condi-

Automatic restart

In the event of a power outage, the device saves its most re-

cent operating settings. When power is restored, it automat-

ically reverts to its previous settings, ensuring uninterrupted

operation without user intervention.
